Aaaah, you guys. One of my all-time favourite facial cleansers. This is actually an old photo from a few months ago, and I have repurchased this one at least twice since then. Both my husband and I use it twice daily each, so though this is a generous 150ml, it does not last forever.
Why do I keep coming back to this one? Let me elaborate.
What it is
This comes out a transparent, slightly runny gel. You may squirt some onto your hands, rub it on your face, and then lather up with some water on your (ideally already wet) face.
Or you could do as I do, which is, squirt a pea sized amount of gel on your hands, add water, build a lather, and spread said lather on your (wet) face.
I find that the latter results in the least amount of tugging, and helps you massage your face. I’m all about aging gracefully, so less tugging is a win for me, though I have read of people who used this straight up on a dry face as a make-up remover.
How does it apply?
Well, it’s rather nice, actually. It gently lathers and feels silky soft on skin. It never dries my skin out, and cleanses effectively.
Combine that with a price of KRW8,500, and you got yourself a kick arse product.
How does it smell?
As far as I can tell, there is only a faintly herbal scent reminiscent of tea tree oil. I hate fragranced skincare, and this never bothers me.
How did I like it?
Many pH-neutral cleansers don’t foam. This one is different – it foams, it cleans thoroughly, it’s cheap. Even when my skin is irritated or riddled with breakouts, it feels comfortable. Can’t ask for more.
You guessed it – I’ll keep repurchasing! 🙂
